TR6 Motor Ready For Re-Installation
Here is the motor from a TR6, sitting on the stand ready for Chip to time the cam. We’ll get the transmission ready and then wait for the body to come back from the paint shop. After the photos, we put the front engine cover on. It’s ready to go in when the car gets back.
TR6 Motor Assembly
While the body is out for body and paint, we started reassembling the motor. Pistons, rods, and crank is in. More to come soon.

This improved throttle linkage comes from Ratco, and replaces the original TR6 linkage. Ratco’s linkage allows more precise control of the throttle, which improves the operation of the cruise control Chip installed on his TR6. We like Ratco.

Triumph TR6 Performance Parts from Richard Good
Richard Good is a TR6 enthusiast who offers performance parts. His website is goodparts.com. We’ve not been been disappointed with his parts. One Chip’s TR6 are Richard Good’s radiator shroud and cold air induction box.

Gauges Reconditioned/Altered by West Valley Instruments
West Valley Instruments is a vendor we use when we need gauge help. Morris Mintz is the owner and he takes care of us. Below are some pictures of the refurbished gauges in Chip’s TR6. The speedometer is now a GPS speedometer and the tachometer is electronic rather than mechanical. Click over to West Valley Instruments’ website and have a look around. More Triumph TR6 Fuel Injection
We are in the early stages of another Triumph TR6 fuel injection project. We’ve just affixed the fuel pump and run the line from the tank to the front. Dean has fixed up an inlet for the return line to the tank. It’s still early, but things are moving along.

Idle Air Control on the fender and fuel regulator to the right of the carbs.
Fuel Pump and Filter Installed… no power to it, yet.
Datsun 1600 Repair
This car came in not responding to the accelerator until it felt like it. Turned out to be a valve sticking. There were some other little items that needing tending as well, but the head work was the big item. With the head back and installed, it’s back to its owner.
The Dove Runs
The Dove motor is “all dressed up” and we fired it up. A little carb adjustment and she purrs. We’re glad it’s back under it’s own power.
